Obituary

Artist Shamar Goodwin Artist was born on August 16, 2022, in Waterville, Maine to Molla Stevens. He weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces and was 20 inches long. Artist unexpectedly passed away on September 13, 2022, in his home. While Artist had a short life, he brought so much joy to those around him. He was an angel before he was called home. Artist loved listening to his mommy sing to him, going for walks with his Papa. He loved being held and cuddled by all his aunts. Artist also really loved to eat, all day long. Being the first great grandchild him and his grandma Robin had a very special bond. His favorite animal was a goat, he even mimicked a goat. Artist is survived by his Mom, Molla Stevens; his aunts, Alisha Stevens, Hailey Stevens, Michaela Rich, Victoria Stevens, and Brookelyn and Jaelyn Lanko; his uncle Jesse Hurtado. His grandmother, Tiffany Stanton. His GG, Robin Dickey and his buddy (papa) Erich Dickey. His great-grandfather Michael Stevens. His godfather Moel Hurtado. His great aunts Nichole and Lyric Nalley-Dickey. Artist is also survived by his Father; his aunts Arianna, Aleah and Jasmine Goodwin. His grandmother Amber Frost. His grandparents Kim and Jim Goodwin. He has a very large family who love him and will miss him tremendously. He is preceded in death by his great-grandmother Sheila Stevens. His great aunt Sherrie Marcoux. On behalf of our family, I would like to thank Alyssa with Lawry Brothers funeral home, for her sympathetic, professionalism during the painful process. We would also like to thank the Winslow emergency personnel.
