Oakland: Beverly (Dudley). Philbrick 78, died peacefully Tuesday October 21, 2014 at the Alfond Center for Health Care in Augusta with her family by her side. She was born in Augusta on October 26, 1935 the daughter of the late Eben and Gertrude (Smith)Dudley. Beverly attended Augusta schools and was employed at T.P. Shoe Company. She was employed with her husband at the Cinema Center in Waterville, after raising her two daughters. She was predeceased by siblings; Lillian Ladner, Nena Reed, Cecelia Farnham, Eben F. Dudley Jr., Robert Dudley, Madeline Charest, Dondal Dudley, Norma Maxim, Shirley Tedeschi, Marjorie Ainslie, and Roberta Woodward. Surviving are her husband Arlington Philbrick of Oakland, her daughter Penny Shorette of Winslow, daughter Pam Ellis and husband Bill of Parkman, sister, Virgina Cloutier and husbnad George of Winthrop, two brothers in law, John Ainslie of Augusta, and Bill Maxim of Winthrop, three granddaughters, Stephanie Shorette, Karlie Ellis and Julie Shorette as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to thank all the nurses, doctors and staff at the Alfond Center for Care for the care Beverly received while there. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday October 28 at the Lake View Cemetery, Old Belgrade Road Oakland. Arrangements are by Wheeler Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Oakland.
