Waterville - - Cynthia Sue McIntire (Cindy), born September 6, 1966, passed away peacefully in her home on March 7th, 2025. She was 58 years old. Cindy is survived by her daughter, Makalah McIntire; her mother, Judy Roy Chappell; brothers Paul McIntire, Dennis McIntire, and Joe McIntire (with wife Hilary McIntire); nephews Ashton McIntire and Elijah Navarro; niece Cassidy McIntire; and great-niece Naomi McIntire. Born in Miami, Florida, Cindy lived in many places throughout her life, including Pensacola, Florida; Sugar Land, Texas; Fallon, Nevada; and for the past 20 years, Waterville, Maine. Cindy was known for her love of spending time with family and friends. She was an avid reader and had a deep passion for gaming. Her joyful spirit, sense of humor, and kindness will be missed by all who knew her. Cindy was deeply loved and will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in her memory.
