Fairfield: Daniel J. Carey 77, passed away at home on November 6, 2024. Daniel was born in Waterville, and grew up in Fairfield Center. His mother and father were William and Marie Ann (Proulx)Carey. He attended Fairfield schools and graduate from Lawrence High School. After graduation he enlisted in the Navy and served his country. Daniel worked as an autobody man and was a part of the local archery club. He also enjoyed wood working especially making cabinets. He was a master of his crafts and received many accolades. He was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his sister Valerie Tibbetts and his children Angela and Shawn. A graveside service will be held December 10, 2024 at noon at the Niche Wall at the Veteran Cemetery in Augusta.
