DAVID JAMES KUFELDT
1969-2022
Fairfield Maine--David James Kufeldt, 52, found peace with the Lord on June 5th, 2022. His passing was unexpected.
David was born Nov. 18th, 1969, in Nashua, NH to Sandra Mesenzeff, (nee, Bell) and David John Kufeldt. His younger years were spent in Nashua, NH. He attended Boystown High in Omaha, Nebraska.
David's chosen profession was that of a welder. Over the years he worked for various companies in that capacity. He could weld a bumper for a frame of a vehicle. He was in involved, at one point, welding up tugboats in Boothbay, Maine.
David was working as a ride mechanic and welder in Waterville, Maine when he met his wife, Cheryl Kufeldt in May of 2003. They were married August 13th, 2005. David and Cheryl share three children together. David also helped raise four stepchildren.
David loved snowmobiling, four wheeling, and fishing, He also loved to play cribbage. He could fix anything and if someone needed help, he would go every time. Mr. Bill Manning called him many times to have Dave rescue him from some mechanical problem out on the snowmobile and Four-wheeler trails. David loved his family and friends and will be sadly missed by all who loved him.
David was predeceased by his father, David John Kufeldt, (Jan 10th, 1948- June 5th, 1969).
David is survived by his mother, Sandra Mesenzeff (nee Bell) and husband Victor of Dunbarton, NH, his sister, Kelly Gautieri, and husband Steven of Nashua, NH, and brother Brian Kufeldt, of Concord, NH; his wife, Cheryl Kufeldt, daughter, Kaitlin Kufeldt, son, David John Kufeldt, son, Christian Kufeldt, stepson, Lucas Schroeder, stepson, Tyler Schroeder, stepdaughter, Angelique Schroeder, and stepson, Colby Schroeder, and step grandchild, Dominic Alley, and nephew David and nieces Michaela and Savannah.
The family appreciates the help and professionalism of Lawry Brothers Funeral Home in Fairfield, Maine.
A Celebration of Life will be held at TJ's Billiards Center in Waterville, Maine on July 23rd from 3-6pm.
