Della Jane Adams, 79, of Clinton, passed away peacefully at home on May 15, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born on June 25, 1945, in Clinton, Della was the daughter of Floyd and Marjorie (Elderkin) Giles. A lifelong resident of the area, she embraced the spirit of her community and the joys of the outdoors. Della married the love of her life, Duane Sr., and together they raised their son, Duane Jr., creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and a deep appreciation for family. A true tomboy at heart, Della loved gardening, fishing, canning, camping, and tackling puzzles. She found joy in cruising around in her golf cart and four-wheeler, always up for an adventure in the great outdoors. Above all, Della cherished time spent with her loved ones, especially her many nieces and nephews, with whom she shared countless memories. She was predeceased by her parents and her beloved husband, Duane Sr.; Brothers, Floyd Jr, Keith, Freddie, Dana; Sisters, Beverly Murray, Eleanor Fuller, Gwendolyn Clinton. Della is survived by her devoted son, Duane Jr.; Brother Millard Giles of Clinton and Sister Geraldine Higgins of Albion; Along with extended family and friends who will miss her fiercely but remember her fondly. A heartfelt thank you to the Northern Light Hospice for the care and comfort they provided for mom and family. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
