January 6, 2013 Oakland: Eardine F. King, age 80, died Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Maine General Medical Center in Waterville. She was born in Waterville on January 15, 1932, the daughter of Melvin and Celia (Southard) Campbell. Eardine graduated from Williams High School in Oakland and attended Thomas College in Waterville. Eardine was employed for many years by Grants Department Store, and retired from Kmart. She was a member of St. Theresa?'s Catholic Church in Oakland. Her true passion was dancing. She was a member of the Heart of Maine Square Dance Club for over 33 years and enjoyed square dancing and round dancing. She spent many happy hours attending dances, workshops, and gatherings with fellow dancers. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Leslie Campbell. Surviving are her husband, David King of Oakland; a son, Wann C. King and his wife Lisa of Oakland; 3 daughters, Meliny J. King of Belmont, Ma., Shelly A. Wood of Manchester, and Lindy L. Henninger and her husband Christopher of Belgrade; a sister, Harriett Mansir and her husband Richard of Randolph; 7 grandchildren, Samantha, Amanda, Michael, David, Brandon, Hanna and Joslyn; 2 great grandchildren, Crysta and Pangea; and several nieces and nephews.
