Fred Lombard Higgins passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 25, 2022. He was the son of Theresa R. Rogers and Fred L. Higgins Sr. He was born December 8, 1970, and grew up in Augusta and Benton, Maine and attended Lawrence High School. He was a jack of all trades and was skilled in many different ways. Most recently, painting had been his passion. He was known for his green thumb and really enjoyed working outside. Fred loved movies, especially documentaries. He hit a few bumps in the road, but his most prized achievements were his two children, Shadrach, and Kaitlin. Fred always tried to seek the positive in every situation, inspiring those that loved him. He will be sadly missed and will serve as a reminder to love fully and unconditionally. He was predeceased by his father, Fred Higgins Sr.; his stepfather, Jon Rogers; and his loving grandparents. He leaves behind his biggest supporter, his mother, Theresa Rogers; his beautiful children, Shadrach James Higgins, and Kaitlin Marie Higgins; his longtime girlfriend, Jessica M. Therrien-Paradis and her daughter, Kenzie Michaud; his siblings, Denise Stevens, Crystal Pottle, Dwight Rogers and Dee-Anna Rogers and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He had a special bond with Brittney Wilson and Tristan Hebert and his best friend, Danny Hawes.
