Genevieve Marie Shirley April 6, 1922 - April 24, 2014

Augusta – Genevieve Marie Shirley, 92, of Waterville, died at Maine General Medical Center Alfond Center for Health on Thursday, April 24, 2014. She was born in Waterville on April 6, 1922 the last of the nine children of the late Philias and Florida (DeBlois) Labbe. Genevieve is survived by her daughter Violet Hamlin and husband Steven daughter Mary Foster, her grandchildren Larry Brown and fiancee Sarah, Charles Shirley and Wife Deana, Brandon Foster and husband John Bartenstein and Trevor Foster and wife Kristen as well as great grandchildren Owen, Evan, Spencer and Ella. She also leaves two special nieces Kate Jolicoeur and Pamela Sealey, her God child Leo Marshall, as well as many nieces and nephews. Genevieve was predeceased by her husband George and a daughter Paula Shirley.
