Waterville – Leona Pearl Williams, 62, passed away unexpectedly at home April 11, 2023. Leona was born November 26, 1960, the daughter of Charlie and Vivian (Moody) Robinson. She was raised in Clinton and attended Lawrence High School.
Leona was a hard worker and worked many jobs throughout her life, including chamber maid in Saco, as a young adult, to cook at many locations in the Waterville area including Mount St. Joseph and Colby College. She loved sharing her love of cooking with her family.
She loved to make people laugh no matter how she was feeling physically; she had a happy soul. She was always the life of the party, the first one to hit the dance floor and start singing along. Leona had a lot of joy decorating her home for each holiday. She was an amazing mother and grandmother; her greatest joys were her two daughters and her grandchildren. She always put others before herself. She was a selfless person with so much wisdom to share.
She was predeceased by her parents Charlie and Vivian Robinsons; her siblings, Charles Robinson, Martha Robinson, Clarence Robinson and Carl Robinson.
She is survived by her daughters, Charlie Lynn Williams and Frances Eleanor Ramharak; grandchildren, Davince, Destiny, and Isabella; siblings, Joe Robinson, Carla Martel, Inez Trahan; close cousin Julie Gentile; her best friends Tina Crosby Brenda Green; and many other family and friends including Kelly Williams.
There will be a graveside service at a later date.
