Obituary

Early on December 25, 2022, Marie ¬¬E. (Pagel) Warman went peacefully home to celebrate Christmas Day with her Savior. She was born on February 26, 1929, in Benton, Maine, daughter of Fred Pagel and Ella (Webber) Pagel. In addition to her parents, she is now reunited with her husband Edward N. Warman, her sister Barbara Johnson, and her daughter Rae Jean Miville. Marie is survived by her sister Polly Juskevice; her children Kathryn Warman and Brian Warman; her grandchildren Daniel Pushor II, Katrina Nickerson, Chrissy Hunter, Kristopher Miville, Tabatha Littlefield, Joshua Miville, Eric Warman, and Melanie Brown; and 23 great-grandchildren. Marie and Edward loved and valued their family very deeply and also had close relationships with their many nieces and nephews. Marie had many hobbies and talents and took joy in using them to enrich the lives of those around her. She made gowns and wedding cakes for many friends and family members, crocheted blankets for grandchildren and friends, and made baby quilts for most of her great-grandbabies. She was a member of Eastern Star. Marie enjoyed spending summers with her husband at their cottage on Prince Edward Island. She attended Thorndike Congregational Church in Thorndike, Maine, as well as South Shore United Church on P.E.I. She loved to sing in church and was a member of many church ladies' groups. Marie enjoyed cooking at Unity College, where she worked for many years. She also loved to dance and enjoyed square dancing with her husband for many years. She loved to read, cook, and play cards with friends. Marie will be laid to rest beside her husband Edward in the Sayward Cemetery in Thorndike, Maine. The family will hold a private graveside memorial service in the spring.
