Marion M. Caron, 81 Waterville - Marion M. Caron, 81, of Waterville, passed away surrounded by family on December 31, 2018 in Augusta. She was born March 12, 1936, a daughter of Ordell and Dorothy Wood of Fairfield, ME. She went to Fairfield schools. She was married the late Sgt. Clinton P. Caron. She worked as a Crossing Guard on the corner of Water and Grove Street for the Waterville Police Department for several years. She was predeceased by her sister Barbara Poulin and her brother Richard Wood. She is survived by her daughters: Earlene Mitchell and husband James; Melinda Maciel and her husband Bruce; Wendy Caron; Celena Caron; her sister Leona Richards and husband Robert; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A time of gathering and reception will be held on Saturday February 17, 2018 from 10 – 11 am at Veilleux Funeral Home, 8 Elm Street, Waterville, ME with the funeral service held also at the funeral home at 11:00 am.
