SHAWMUT- Marlene A. Wilson passed away September 2nd, 2026, at Oak Grove Nursing Home at the age of 88. She was born on March 3rd,1938 in Waterville, Maine to Ollie Hood and Audrey McGee. A graduate of Lawrence High School and Thomas College.

Marlene married Bill Wilson on September 7th, 1997, and remained married for 66 years. Marlene worked for Josephs Clothing for many years and then moved to Sarasota, FL where she worked for Publix for 22 years. They moved back to Shawmut in 2006 to be closer to family.

Marlene is predeceased by her husband Bill Wilson, her parents, a son Stephen Wilson of Sarasota, FL, her grandson Christopher Wilson of Sarasota, FL. A sister Marion McGee, A brother Ray McGee, A sister Brenda Qiola. She is survived by her son David Wilson of Shawmut.

The burial will take place at a later date.
