Nancy Louise Gagnon 84 of Waterville ME passed away Monday January 1, 2024 with her family by her side. Nancy was born September 17, 1939 in Waterville ME to Beatrice (Sawtelle) Colburn and Phillip A Colburn. Nancy attended Waterville Schools and graduated from Waterville High School Class of 1957. Nancy was employed for many years by the former Harris Baking Company in Waterville and by New England Telephone Company. In later years she spent time working retail jobs at Giguere's Market in Fairfield and at Rich's Department Store in Waterville. Nancy was an avid reader and a crossword puzzle master and the fastest jigsaw puzzle solver ever. Nancy's house became the neighborhood bus stop where all the neighborhood kids would gather and wait for the bus every morning before school. She was predeceased by her parents Phillip and Beatrice, her husband John Gagnon, her sisters Sandra LaPierre and Cynthia Coombs, and a son in law Everett Haney. Nancy is survived by her children Jonathon Vigue and his wife Michelle of Georgia, Suzanne Haney of Georgia, Lance Gagnon and his wife Christy of Fairfield ME, Margaret Boutin and her husband Jeremy of Oakland, ME, Gary Gagnon and his wife Judy of Albion, ME and Johna Gagnon of Burnham, ME. Her grandchildren Lucy Gagnon, Melissa (Carlos) Vega, Erika(Jay) Verrier, Emily(Shawn) Basford, Heather(James) Brannen, Jacob Haney, Olivia Boutin and Grace Gagnon and 12 great grandchildren. Nancy is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Services will be held in the spring.
