Newell B. Graf Sr. 09/09/1934 - 08/21/2023 Newell B. Graf Sr., a proud veteran of the U.S. Air force, 88, passed away on August 21, 2023. Newell was born on September 9, 1934, the son of Bessie (Woodbury) Graf & Edward Graf of Skowhegan.

In 1953, he joined the military and was honorably discharged as Sergeant in 1965. Newell retired from the Laborers' Union Local #327, as a General Foreman, in 1996.

Newell is survived by his three children; sons Newell Graf Jr, David Graf Sr. and wife Terrie all of Skowhegan, and daughter Leanna Graf of North Carolina, along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and countless nephews and nieces, and family friend Dawn. Predeceasing him in addition to his parents, were brothers Reid Graf and Edward Graf Jr., sisters Juanita (Graf) Flannery and Patricia (Graf) Runnells and constant friend Marie.

Military Graveside services will be held at South-side Cemetery on September 9, 2023, at 10:00 am. for family and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made in his honor to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
