Obituary

Winslow - Nolan William Buck, 28, was called home on December 2, 2025, at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta, with his loving family by his side. He was born on October 1, 1997, the cherished son of Michelle Buck and Christopher Buck. Nolan brought immense joy to those around him, sharing his bright spirit through the simple things he loved most. He especially enjoyed spending time with his sister Nora playing with his special mirror and watching SpongeBob SquarePants, which never failed to make him smile. Nolan's gentle heart formed deep connections, including the bond he shared with his first dog, Benny, who predeceased him and remained an important part of his life. Nolan especially shared an unbreakable bond with his sister Nora. Nolan is survived by his parents, Michelle Buck of Winslow and Christopher Buck of Shawmut; his sister Nora; his maternal grandparents William Page of Winslow and Gerry Page of Winslow; and his paternal grandparents Sylvia and Daryl Buck of DeLeon Springs, FL. And an uncle, Daniel Buck and his family of Fairfield. Each held a special place in his life and will carry his memory forward with love. Nolan was predeceased by great grandparents, Arlene and Edward Quirion, Annette Buck, Louise Benson and a special Friend, Jim Carey. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses, who over the years helped aid in Nolans impeccable care, Lisa Barrieault, Deb Blake, Kimbly Jesky, Stephanie Walsh, Linda Hoyt, Diedre Duncan, and many many more from Inland and Maine General Medical Center. Also, To Dr Jeff Stone, Dr Stephen Rioux, Allisa Roy NP and Dr Michael Isaac. The support and care for Nolan throughout the years could not go unnoticed. Their kindness and dedication brought comfort and strength to Nolan and those who loved him. Nolan will be remembered for his innocence, warmth, and the quiet but profound joy he brought into the world. His presence will be deeply missed and forever treasured. Nolan touched all the hearts to those who knew him. His soul was pure and he was a brave warrior. Visiting hours will take place at Veilleux Redington Lawry Brothers Funeral Home on December 12th, 2025, from 4pm- 7pm. A Mass will take place at Notre Dame Catholic Church on December 13th, 2025, at 9am. A reception will follow at St Bridgets at 864 Main St, Vassalboro, ME 04989. In lieu of flower donations can be made to Cynthia's Challenge PO Box 213 Eaton, NH 03830, a non-profit organization created to support children and their families faced with staggering expenses associated with special medical needs.
