In Loving Memory of Patrick Casey
In loving memory of Patrick Casey, who passed away on September 7, 2026, surrounded by the deep love of family and friends. Pat faced ALS with remarkable courage, humor, and grace, meeting each day with the determination to live fully and meaningfully. He spent his final summer exactly where he wanted to be — surrounded by water, laughter, and the people who loved him fiercely.
Patrick was born in Skowhegan, Maine, and was the son of Alexis and Jeanine Casey. He was raised in Clinton with his nine siblings, whom he loved very much. He was a devoted husband and father and the most exceptional Pepe. He made every moment fun. There wasn’t a gathering where he didn’t make everyone in the room laugh. He loved his boat and his role as The Captain. He also loved snowmobiling, ice fishing, side‑by‑siding, and traveling with his wife and family. Any chance he got, he loved meeting up with friends and family for lunch.
He made many memories at his deer camp, camp at Three‑Mile Pond, and Camp Condo, with a special thanks to the Dixon family for allowing him to be in the setting he loved most. He loved visiting Moosehead Lake, as this was the place he would go to reset his soul.
His memory will be carried on by his wife, Jean Casey; his son Daniel Levesque; his son Chris Levesque and wife Tracy, along with their children Taylor, Joseph, and Whitney; his siblings Mark Casey and wife Ophie, James Casey and wife Madeline, Duane Casey and wife Judith, sister‑in‑law Debi Casey, Alexis Casey and his wife Lisa, Shawn Casey, Timothy Casey, Thomas Casey and wife Misty, and Mary Casey and soulmate Benjamin Burrows; his sister-in-law Joan Clement and husband Mark, Denise Chamberlain and husband Ron, Judy Belanger and husband Larry. Brother-in-law, Norman Laverriere. Pat was the best Godfather to Randy, Jake, Ryan, and Kristen and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his dog Ivan, who Pat nicknamed Jimmy Dean Sausage.
He will be welcomed into heaven by his parents Alexis and Jeanine Casey; his brothers Rick Casey and Robert Casey; his in‑laws Robert and Dorothy Mosher; his sister‑in‑law Robbie Laverriere; Shawn’s fiancée Barbara Bernard; and friends who turned into family, Wayne and Nolly Dostie; his beloved pets Max, Rosco, Shadow, Tutti, Fruitti, and AJ will also be there to greet him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 2nd from 4:00–7:00pm at The Barn at Loon Cove, located at 940 Waterville Rd, Skowhegan, Maine. His wife would love it if you shared your favorite memories and stories of Patrick.
In lieu of flowers please donate to The Waterville Animal Shelter or the charity of your choice.
