Ronald J. Levesque

Ronald J. Levesque was born and raised in Waterville. His parents were Abel and Cecile (Pinette) Levesque. He was preceded in death by both of his parents and his sisters Carla Bouchard and Pamela Levesque and a nephew Randy Levesque.
He is survived by his wife Susan of 43 years, his son Joesph R Levesque and wife Lynn. Two stepsons Gerry Bisson & his partner Sheila, Gregg Bisson and his partner Karen. Ron, is also survived by his brother George Levesque and his wife Ellen. He his survived by his brother-in-law Gerry Bouchard, sisters and brothers-in-law Marsha and Arthur Gilbert, David and Lynda Boucher, Cindy and Joe Ouellette. He has several nephews, nieces, grandkids and great grandkids.
In his younger years he enjoyed the outdoors hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and camping. He served in the US Army, returned home and went to work for Scott Paper /Kimberly Clark for 30 years. Upon the mill closure, Ron found work at the Maine Capital building as a Custodian for several years. After his retirement he enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and great-grand kids.
As his health began to fail, he was admitted to the Oak Grove Nursing Home for a short stay, where he passed away peacefully.
There will be a committal service for Ron at the VA Cemetery off Civic Drive on Friday Dec. 5th at 12:00pm. There will be a lite lunch at the Levesque residence in Fairfield Center immediately following the service.
