WALDORF, MARYLAND—Shawn Matthew Willoughby, 36, of Waldorf, Maryland, was called Home early to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 10, 2013. He was born in Rockport, Maine and grew up in the Benton, Maine area. Shawn attended Benton and Fairfield schools. He lived in Waldoboro for a time with his family. Shawn was employed in Rockland, Maine by Van Baalen and later worked in Waldoboro, Maine for Sylvania. Shawn moved to Maryland where he was employed as a forklift operator in Waldorf. Shawn enjoyed bike riding, weightlifting, kayaking, and going on road trips with his wife and family. He was predeceased by his father, Charles Davis; his sisters, Charlene and Lisa Davis; as well as his paternal and maternal grandparents. Shawn will be sadly missed by his beloved wife, Crystal Paine of Waldorf, Maryland; his two children, Allysha and Aaron Willoughby, whom he loved very much, of Sidney, Maine; his parents, Daniel and Hope Ellis of Benton, Maine; his brothers, Christian Willoughby of Augusta, Maine, Daniel Ellis Jr. of Waterville, Maine, Steven and Craig Davis of Rockland, Maine, and Corey York of Rockland, Maine; his sister, Nicole Davis of Connecticut; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and two special pets, Joey and Sasha.. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 23 at Faith Evangelical Free Church, 250 Kennedy Memorial Dr., Waterville, Maine.
