Obituary

Waterville - Thelma C. Rancourt, 95 died October 3, 2017 at Lakewood Continuing Care in Waterville. She was born in Waterville on December 9, 1921 to Charles and Clara Moen (Faucher). A longtime resident of Vassalboro, she and her late husband Fred built a dairy and poultry farm that they operated from 1943 until 2001.

Thelma is survived by her daughter Rachel of Waterville; daughter-in-law Charlene (Rancourt) Breton and husband Ron of Winslow; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; her first son Bobby and second son Robert; two sisters: Aurora peters and Agnes Dutil; as well as five brothers: Ruel, Fred, Norman, Clayton and William.

To Vicki Dyer and her team on Moonlight Bay at Lakewood: we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for giving our Mom respect, dignity, love and kindness every day of her stay with you.

Family and friends are invited for a time of gathering and visitation from 9 – 11 am on Tuesday October 10, 2017 at Veilleux Funeral Home, 8 Elm Street, Waterville with the funeral service at the funeral home at 11:00 am.
