Timothy Raymond Adams
Timothy "Tim" Adams, 59, went peacefully to Heaven on Tuesday morning, September 10, 2022, with his wife, his mother and his five sisters by his side. He was born December 12, 1962, in Waterville, Maine. He was the son of Beverly (Pooler) Adams and Richard White and the second youngest of his siblings.
Most recently, Tim worked as a delivery driver for Waterville House of Pizza. Prior to that he was an automobile mechanic for more than thirty years. He worked for several years at Keith's Auto Repair on College Avenue in Waterville, with his friend Keith Roderick. For a time, he was a cook in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he lived for several years.
Tim enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Music was a defining part of him. He played bass guitar for the Rock N Roll band R Factor 13. The group played several gigs in the greater Waterville area. When he was a boy, he liked to play the harmonica, much to his mother's dismay. He played "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head" too many times to count. He was also a NASCAR fan. He followed the careers of Mike and Pete Silva from Maine. His most favorite professional driver was Dale Earnhardt, Sr. When he was about ten, he spent many Saturdays at a local nursing home playing cards with an elderly neighborhood lady, Sadie. As best friends go, Tim had many. He spent many years in the company of such "good old boys" as Pete, Gerard, Tim, Ron, Mark and Timmy. Tim's furry friends are not to be forgotten. His dogs Kennebec, DJ, and Buster and his cat Raider Girl were dear to him and Kristi.
Tim is survived by the love of his life, Kristi Lovell Adams. They were married on July 24, 1988, at Kennebec Valley Baptist Church in Waterville. They enjoyed thirty-four years together. He is also survived by his mother, Beverly Adams, and his siblings: Carol Sturtevant (Nelson), Janelle Doig (Richard), Darlene Hersom (John), Bebe Howe (Cass), and Kathy Adams, as well as three brothers, David, Ricky, and Bruce White. On the Lovell side of the family, Tim is survived by his mother-in-law Diane Lovell, his sister-in-law Vanda Madore (Rodney), and his brother-in-law Parrish Lovell (Kathy). Additionally, Tim is survived by numerous, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Tim was preceded in death by his father Richard White, and his grandparents Edgar and Georgianne White. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents Raymond and Alice Pooler and his brother Alan Nason, as well as his father-in-law Vince "Butch" Lovell.
Tim was a beloved husband, son, brother, and friend. He will be much missed every day, but he will remain in our hearts forever. The numerous, precious memories of him held in our hearts will help ease the pain, bring peace and comfort, and restore the joy that came from having had him in our lives.
The family would like to express thanks to MaineGeneral Homecare and Hospice. A special thanks goes to Regan, Tim's nurse, for her devotion and friendship, during a difficult time. She is a credit to her profession. Thanks also goes to Dawn, in appreciation of the personal care she was able to provide to Tim. The family would also like to thank Ruth Coffey, the social worker at the Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care in Augusta who helped us in so many ways. The family appreciates all the nurses from Hospice who helped take care of Tim. They are special "angels."
