It is with heavy hearts the family of Tyler Dennett announce his passing on Friday, August 21, 2026. He was 44 years old. 

Tyler was born on June 27, 1982 in Presque Isle, the son of Daniel Dennett and Sherry Hitchcock. Tyler attended school in Presque Isle. He had a strong passion for the automotive world. Rather it was paint and body work to turning wrenches, he could fix anything he put his mind to when it came to automotives. He also loved riding anything with a motor, motorcycles, four wheelers and snowmobiles. He loved doing it most with his kids. Through him he passed that passion and love for every bit of it to his kids. 

He was predeceased by his grandfather, George Dennett, grandmother, Marie Dennett and grandfather, John Poitraw. He is survived by his mother Sherry Hitchcock and spouse Todd, Chapman, father Daniel Dennett and partner Sandie Lapointe, Bridgewater, brother Kyle Dennett, Mapleton, sister, Jessica Hebert, Bangor, and his 4 children, Joseph Bolstridge, Chapman, Zackary Dennett, Presque Isle, Bryce Dennett, Mapleton, Jenna Dennett, Mapleton, and his granddaughter Violet Dennett, Mapleton, a special aunt Carol Robbins, and several aunts, uncles , nieces, nephews and cousins who will miss him deeply and will always remember his smile.
