UNA PLUMLEY 1936-2022

Brunswick County, NC- Una Plumley, 85, passed away March 13’th 2022, at Cape fear Hospice Center Brunswick County, North Carolina. She was born August 23, 1936, to the late Rena and George Stevens. She was raised in Presque Isle, attending Hesser College for secretarial work. After school Una moved to Unity where she met her husband of 60 years Harold Plumley. They worked together as entrepreneurs in Harold’s floor covering business, which they ran for 17 years. Una and Harold maintained the Unity Park for several years before retiring. Una is survived by Lori and her husband Larry Buchanan; grandchildren Lee Bassett, Jack, and Mary Dowd; and three great grandchildren; also, several nieces and nephews. Private services were held at Quaker Hill Cemetery.
