Victoria L. Giroux of Skowhegan, Maine passed away on 11/10/2022 at Woodlawns Nursing Home. She was born in Sarasota, Florida September 09, 1927. Daughter of Carroll Lincoln & Vera Bean Lincoln. She was raised in Clinton, Maine and attended Clinton Schools & Thomas Business School. In July 1946, she married Joseph Giroux, Jr. of Fairfield, Maine. They resided for several years in Fairfield before moving to Connecticut. They moved back to Maine in 1968 residing in Skowhegan. Where they bought & operated the Shamrock Restaurant on Route 201. They retired & sold the restaurant in 1981. Victoria was a member of the Kennebells Barbershop Choir, University of Maine Cooperative Extension Senior Companion Program and Riverside Baptist Church, Hinckley, Maine. She was predeceased by her parents Carroll & Vera Lincoln, husband Joseph (Vic) Giroux, grandson Joseph Pike and son in-law Joseph Pringle. Siblings Virginia Brumn, Velma Lundbeck & Robert Lincoln. She is survived by companion Eugene George of Skowhegan; daughter Linda Pike Pringle of Arkansas and 3 granddaughters, Diane Pinkham of Madison, Samantha Blankinship of Arkansas, Christine Pringle of Arkansas. Several nieces and nephews. At Victoria's request there will be a graveside service in the spring at St. Francis Cemetery on Grove Street, Waterville, Maine. The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers at the Woodlawn Nursing Home in Skowhegan for all their care and support and her companion Eugene.
